Hello, my name is Carissa Caricato, and I am the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. The mission of bringing help, hope and healing to people facing serious life challenges in the Tampa Bay area excites me to get out of bed every morning and look forward to making a small difference each and every day. I love what I do!
I have a passion for people and positive change. I love traveling and hope to visit all of the continents in the next few years. I am a foodie and an enthusiast for all things DELICIOUS! I play tennis and the piano, and the accordion only if I am begged. I love my family and would do anything for my friends. I laugh and sing all the time, sometimes simultaneously! Everyone who knows me knows I am a bundle of energy, but I also love quiet time and personal space. Life is full of ups and downs, but I have been so BLESSED!
Getting involved in my community is very important to me! You can find me involved with Emerge Tampa Bay, Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, 97 West, South Tampa Fellowship, PRSA Tampa Bay, Child Abuse Council, Friends of the Riverwalk, Friends of St. Jude, and NITE (Necessary Improvements to Transform our Environment) at USF.
